What is a temporary email address and when do you need one?

A temporary email address – also called a disposable, throwaway or 10-minute mail – is an inbox that exists only for a short time. You don't need to register, no password, no personal data. The address is generated instantly and deleted again automatically after a set time (10 minutes with us).

Typical use cases: testing signup flows, downloading something behind an email gate, one-time confirmation links, or avoiding marketing newsletters. Instead of handing out your real address and getting flooded with spam later, you use an address that simply disappears afterwards.

Important: a disposable address is not meant for important or permanent accounts. Banks, government services, or accounts you need to access later should never go to a temporary address – because once it expires, you lose access.
